Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Filmy (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use of Filmy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

Filmy is a shared disposable camera app for events. Hosts create “films” with customizable settings, invite guests to participate, and all photos are revealed together at a time chosen by the host. The App is available on iOS and requires an internet connection to function.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use Filmy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Filmy.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload to Filmy. By uploading content, you grant Filmy a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to operate the service (e.g., showing photos to film participants).

You agree not to upload content that:

• •Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• •Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• •Contains sexually explicit material involving minors
• •Violates the privacy of others without their consent

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice.

5. Purchases & Payments

Filmy offers paid features on a per-event basis. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Prices are displayed before purchase and may vary by region. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect existing purchases.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• •Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• •Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• •Create accounts through automated means or under false pretenses
• •Harass, bully, or intimidate other users

7. Intellectual Property

The Filmy app, including its design, code, branding, and features, is owned by Filmy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use of the App is harmful to other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers

Filmy is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss of photos or data due to technical failures, though we make reasonable efforts to prevent such losses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filmy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to Filmy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
